"WOW & WOW. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!"
Historic Crowe Manor sits in the country landscape of Carroll County, Arkansas. The home was once filled with the sound of children’s laughter, the blaring trumpets of 1940’s jazz, and the kind neighborly welcome of Mrs. Crowe herself, Annabelle.
But those joyful days have long since passed. The walls have withered, the farm has overgrown, and the house is empty. Empty, but not quiet. The walls of Crowe Manor whisper the secrets of the past, but you’ll have to enter to hear their stories. Go on, step through the red door.
"ANNA TOOK INTERACTIVE THEATER TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL."
Present day. Meet Parker Morrison, the realtor, steadfast and intent on turning a profit on the old property. Meet Cody and Julia Lonan, the brave new owners; restoration on an aging mansion is no small undertaking. Meet Sheriff Caleb Lonan, the brother, determined to dig up the eerie details of the Crowe Manor murders.
But Crowe Manor has plans of its own, the whispers in the walls wish to be heard, the secrets of a violent past will be uncovered. C’mon in, make yourself at home. And maybe…you’ll meet ANNA.
"EUREKA SPRINGS IS LUCKY TO HAVE THIS EDGY AND BEAUTIFULLY DEVELOPED SHOW."
ANNA is an original theatrical production created by the Melonlight Performance Ensemble, an elegant murder mystery meets the elusive ghost story.
Guests will find themselves immersed in the clever plot, either comfortably seated in our unique white box theater for a full-length two act show with intermission [Experience ANNA: Present Day] or walking through the space for an immersive 40 minute production [Experience ANNA: 1940.]
Your senses will come alive as the actors play, dance and frighten within inches of you. Melonlight producers bring a particular nuance to live performance, engaging the senses with strict attention to detail, intricate lighting, and the most delicate timing.
The experience leaves guests feeling as though they’re on the set of a movie rather than a seat in an auditorium. You’ll arrive in curiosity, and leave in awe.
"WE LEFT WITH GOOSEBUMPS!"
The show is intended for mature audiences. Guests may arrive 10 minutes early to Experience ANNA: 1940 and up to 30 minutes before show time for Experience ANNA: Present Day.
You do not need physical or printed tickets to check in, your name and reservation is in our system. We’ll be expecting you. Tickets are $20 per person for Experience ANNA: 1940 and $35 per person for Experience ANNA: Present Day. No youth discount.
"I LITERALLY HAD HAIR STANDING UP ON THE BACK OF MY NECK!"
The Melonlight Performance Ensemble is comprised of five members, Raymond and Emily Ulibarri, Maggie Mae, Caia Claire and Jerry Watson; all performers, all creative power-houses, all bringing a unique skill set to the table that inevitably shines on the Melonlight stage.
Co-Founder Raymond Ulibarri brings years of performance experience and an extensive knowledge of ballroom dance. He’s a visionary in the art of storytelling, beautifully connecting movement to light. He’s also the master behind our cameras and the front man of our imagery and marketing. We all wear a lot of hats in the ensemble.
Co-Founder Emily Ulibarri is also a ballroom dancer and seasoned performer who has a deep love for the pen. She is the writer of Melonlight scripts and co-director with her husband Raymond.
Maggie Mae, a lifetime dancer and natural actress, is responsible for the look of every show. With meticulous and stylish execution, she crafts every visual detail from costume dress, to lip color, to antique dining ware, to tarnished doorknob. Not to mention, she’s ANNA.
Performer Caia Claire delivers beauty and poise in her every action. Elegant on stage and online, she’s our social media guru delivering Melonlight to the world.
Performer Jerry Watson brings character and strength to Melonlight, both on stage and off. Also a skillful gymnast, he does backflips while building pieces for the set and handstands while writing in chalk on the Melonlight walls.
As a team, we create performance concepts and put them into action from seed idea into fully produced blossom of unique entertainment, like the show you’re about to see. Every single second of your experience has been carefully planned. We are honored to share our work of art with you. So c’mon in, make yourself at home.
"I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS SHOW AGAIN AND AGAIN."
